The joy is that suede leather jackets have good comfort and breathability. The worry is that once this kind of leather jackets get dirty, it is difficult to clean. Some dry cleaners also refuse to accept light-colored suede leather jackets.


The washability of leather is much different from that of textiles, and the dyeing fastness of leather is far inferior to that of textiles. As a result, the suede leather is easily stained, but it is difficult to wash. In addition, the technical requirements for washing suede leather are relatively high. Therefore, the satisfaction of washing suede is often not high enough.

How to wash suede leather jacket:


1. When cleaning the suede leather jacket, the lining should be removed, so as to prevent the lining from shrinking too much and deforming the leather jacket;


2. Soak the fabric in a solution of 0.2% ammonia water and the same amount of detergent (commercially available) at a temperature of 35°C for 20 minutes, and gently rub the dirty parts of the leather garment;


3. After cleaning, rinse with water again, but do not twist the leather jacket;


4. Add 150 grams of leather fatliquor to each leather coat in water at a temperature of 40°C, stir evenly and gently knead the leather coat for 10 minutes to make the oil penetrate into the leather as much as possible. Leather fatliquor formulation: Mix 20% chlorinated paraffin with 13% chlorine, 20% chlorinated paraffin with 42% chlorine, and 60% natural fatty acid ester, mix well. Fur should be an alternative fur fatliquor.


5. Add more than 2 tablespoons (about 22 ml) of vinegar essence to a basin of water, stir for a few minutes, put the leather into the soak for a while, and then change the water to rinse twice;


6. Hang it in a cool and ventilated place with a hanger, and dry it. After drying, rub the leather of the leather jacket with hands to make it soft to reproduce the fluff. Finally, use a brush to brush the fluff.
