1. Organizational composition
Velvet is the name of a silk fabric in which velvet warps form loops or piles on the surface of the fabric, also known as Zhang velvet, which was mass-produced in the Ming Dynasty. It has two categories: flowers and vegetarians. Floral velvet is to divide some loops into fluff according to the pattern to form a pattern, while the surface of plain velvet is all loops.
2. Fabric characteristics
In velvet fabrics, the piles or loops stand closely together, with elegant shades and strong wear resistance, making them a good material for clothing, hats and accessories. Velvet has two types: flowers and plains, and the source forms among them are different. Velvet is rarely textured, single- or double-colored, or inlaid with gold and silver threads.
